At HellgataCarbon, we take pride in creating high-quality custom steering wheels designed to give your vehicle a unique look and feel. Because many of our steering wheels are custom-built or personalized to a customer’s specifications, certain products are subject to specific return and refund conditions.

Please read this Return and Refund Policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Returns – Custom Steering Wheels

Due to the personalized nature of our products, returns are subject to the conditions below.

1.1 Return Window

You may contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery to request a return for an eligible product.

Return requests received after this period may not be accepted.

1.2 Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the steering wheel must:

Be in the same condition as delivered
Be unused and free from installation marks or damage
Not have been modified after delivery
Include all original accessories and packaging, where applicable
Not show signs of improper installation, misuse, or alteration

All returns must receive prior authorization from HellgataCarbon before being shipped back.

1.3 Custom and Personalized Steering Wheels

Because custom steering wheels are made according to the customer’s selected specifications, custom-built or personalized steering wheels may be non-refundable once production has started.

This may include, but is not limited to:

Custom carbon fiber finishes
Custom leather, Alcantara, or suede
Custom stitching colors
Custom center markings
Custom paddle or trim configurations
Custom logos or embroidery
Custom shapes or designs
Personalized specifications requested by the customer

If you need to cancel a custom order, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation may not be possible once materials have been ordered or production has begun.

2. Order Cancellations

2.1 Before Production

Orders may be eligible for cancellation if the cancellation request is received before production begins.

If approved, any eligible refund will be issued to the original payment method.

2.2 After Production Begins

Once a custom steering wheel has entered production, cancellation may not be available because materials and labor have already been committed to the order.

Any cancellation approved after production begins may be subject to deductions for:

Materials purchased
Custom components
Labor already completed
Shipping or other non-refundable costs

2.3 Completed Custom Orders

Custom steering wheels that have been completed according to the specifications approved by the customer are generally not eligible for cancellation or refund due to a change of mind.

3. Defective or Incorrect Products

We stand behind the quality of our products.

If your steering wheel arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the steering wheel
Photographs of the packaging, if the item was damaged during shipping

After reviewing the issue, we may offer:

A replacement
Repair or correction
A partial refund where appropriate
A full refund where the product cannot reasonably be corrected or replaced

A product that has been improperly installed, modified, damaged, or misused after delivery may not qualify for a refund or replacement.

4. Shipping Damage

Please inspect your package and steering wheel as soon as it is delivered.

If you notice visible damage:

Photograph the packaging before opening it, if possible.
Photograph the steering wheel and any visible damage.
Contact HellgataCarbon within 48 hours of delivery.
Do not install or modify the steering wheel until we have reviewed the issue.

Failure to report shipping damage promptly may affect our ability to assist with a shipping-related claim.

5. Refund Process

Once an approved return is received, HellgataCarbon will inspect the product.

5.1 Inspection

We will generally review the returned product within 5 business days of receiving it.

If the return is approved, we will notify you and process the applicable refund.

5.2 Refund Method

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used to place the order.

Depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

5.3 Refund Amount

The amount refunded depends on the reason for the return.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to an error on our part or a confirmed manufacturing defect, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

HellgataCarbon is not responsible for products lost or damaged while being returned without an authorized return procedure.

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your shipping receipt until your return has been completed.

7. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for eligible products depending on the circumstances.

7.1 Standard Products

Unused and eligible standard steering wheels may be considered for exchange within 14 days of delivery.

The customer may be responsible for return shipping and any difference in product price.

7.2 Custom Products

Custom steering wheels generally cannot be exchanged simply because the customer changes their mind about the selected design, color, material, or configuration.

If HellgataCarbon made an error compared with the specifications confirmed in your order, contact us immediately so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate solution.

8. Non-Returnable Products

The following products or situations may not qualify for return or refund:

Custom-made steering wheels after production has begun
Personalized steering wheels
Products modified by the customer
Products damaged during customer installation
Products showing signs of misuse or improper handling
Products with installation-related damage
Products altered, painted, rewrapped, cut, or otherwise modified after delivery
Products returned without prior authorization
Orders marked as final sale
Products returned outside the applicable return period

9. Installation Responsibility

HellgataCarbon recommends that steering wheels and related components be installed by a qualified automotive professional.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are compatible with their specific vehicle and are installed correctly.

HellgataCarbon is not responsible for damage caused by:

Incorrect installation
Improper handling
Incorrect vehicle compatibility
Modification of the steering wheel
Installation by an unqualified person
Failure to follow applicable installation instructions
Damage to vehicle components during installation

For safety-related components, including airbags, steering controls, wiring, buttons, and other vehicle systems, professional installation is strongly recommended.

10. Product Compatibility

Before ordering, customers should verify that the selected steering wheel is compatible with their vehicle.

Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper installation, unauthorized modification, or normal wear may not be covered.

12. International Orders

For international customers:

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Customs duties, taxes, import fees, and other government charges may be non-refundable.
